Antivirus Software Solutions

Antivirus (anti-virus) software is a "Must Have" software package that everyone, including you, should have installed on your system whether you are online for 10 minutes at night checking emails, or if you are a heavy internet user, antivirus software must be installed, running, and up to date. Anyone reading this article should take a few minutes to check they have antivirus software installed. The next thing to check is that it is in it's subscription period, and then check to make sure that the antivirus "definition" updates are up to date and installed.

Is your antivirus software upto date?

Many people have antivirus software already installed on their systems but do not realise that the subscription to the updates for the antivirus only last for a certain amount of time, they do not last the lifetime of the computer. If you have antivirus software on your system that is not up to date then you are wide open to attack from new viruses and with hundreds of new viruses reported every month it won't take long for you to get infected. Nearly two-thirds of consumers (63 per cent) have been the victim of a virus infection in the past, this can be avoided if computer users took the time and effort to understand, and purchase good security software. Remember that it is always cheaper to purchase antivirus software than to call out an engineer to sort out an infected computer, or worse still, lose all your valuable date, files or photos.
