Symantec's Norton Internet Security 2007 is one of the most popular security software products around. Norton Internet Security 2007 is available in a boxed set and online. Either way, Symantec has lowered the price: Norton Internet Security 2007 is now priced for a three-user license. Note, however, that Symantec no longer offers a single-user license for Norton Internet Security 2007.
With the release of Norton internet security 2007, Symantec has overhauled nearly all of the software making it better to navigate with quite a few new features but it still feels rather clumsy and hard to use. Saying that, it still has a huge following and those that swear by it. There are quite a few features to this package, and we are guessing that some of these will not be used by the average home/home office user. Norton internet security 2007 has included a antiphishing protection tool which alerts you to suspected phishing sites, or those known to Symantec to be otherwise suspicious or fraudulent.
Norton AntiSpam, Norton Parental Control, Confidential Information Blocking, and Ad Blocking--are missing from the installed product. These can be downloaded free but are not added to the installed product as internet security vendors believe that it is easier, and better if purchasers of thier products download and install the features they need and use.
